How much will a lift for my home cost?

Lift and platform solutions to get you around your home come in all shapes and sizes – the options are virtually endless.

Key factors that will determine which lift you install and how much it costs are:

  • Available space in your home – Vestner has a range of options which can be installed inside or outside, depending on the space you have and the configuration of your home. If it’s possible, we’ve probably done it, so make sure you talk to us about the options before giving up or settling for something you’re not entirely happy with.
  • Whether you want it for internal or external access – Cabin lifts and platform lifts can be fitted internally or externally, depending on the space available. For external lifts, important consideration is required if you live near the sea, subject to sea air (salt), where we would recommend enclosing the lift with materials suited to a marine environment.
  • The number of levels or distance the lift needs to travel – Vestner can provide a lift for any situation – from an outdoor platform to get you up onto a raised deck to multi-level commercial elevators – and everything in between.
  • What do you want to move with a lift – do you want a one-person lift, a lift that can carry a person in a wheelchair or a lift that can carry multiple people or items of furniture?
  • Comfort and safety levels – whilst all Vestner platforms and lifts are designed to be safe to use, there are many options you can choose to increase comfort, such as door type, a fitted seat, different types of control panels … the list is endless to customise your level of security and comfort.
  • Aesthetics – lifts are an investment in your property and can be designed to enhance the space they occupy through the use of colour, a variation of materials/finishes and design elements. The options are limitless, but they will depend on your budget.

Budget – we’ve provided a table of approximate costs based on how far you need your lift to go. Vestner specialises in customising lift solutions to any requirements, so this is purely a guide to get you started.
